Get your hands dirty (or don’t—gardening gloves are always provided!) during this hands-on workshop for children and their adult(s).
Participants will pot up an herb to take home and enjoy on a patio, balcony, or backyard garden. A selection of herbs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Have garden dreams for next year? Bring photos, sketches, or measurements of spaces you’d like to transform, and receive personalized tips on plant selection, placement, soil needs, and container design.
This workshop is co-facilitated by Kailey Stewart of ecothera and Amy Sandy of Longfish Gardens, bringing together a shared passion for nature, gardening, and creative community experiences.
Participants will:
- Learn the basics of growing herbs and vegetables in containers
- Pot up an herb to take home and enjoy
- Explore creative ideas for small-space gardening
- Connect with other garden enthusiasts and celebrate the joy of growing your own food
